Ethical Clothing
Our t-shirts are made from 100% organic cotton and are certified in accordance with the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). They have been produced in line with a policy of:
-
No use of child labour
-
No use of forced labour
-
Safe and healthy working conditions
-
Legal labour contracts
-
Payment of living wage
-
Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
-
No discrimination against employees
-
No excessive hours of work
In addition, our tees have been approved by the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF). FWF is an independent, non-profit organisation striving to improve working conditions in the textile industry. The foundation is an initiative by trade organizations in the textile sector, trade unions and NGO's. FWF verifies that member companies implement the Code of Labour Practice along their supply chain, and checks compliance by monitoring audits and remediation efforts.
Similarly, our sweatshirts and hoodies are 80% cotton, 20% polyester and are made in factories that are either WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) certified or members of BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative).
All print, embroidery and packaging is done in the UK, so every step of the manufacturing process, from yarn to garment, is safe and closely monitored.
If you've skipped the chunk of text above, well basically, we're serious about doing the right thing and we will always stay ethical.
